How long will it take to get my leads?
Once a prospect enters their information online and you are matched with the prospect, it will be sent to you via email instantly. The prospect will be provided the information on your public profile page.
How are your leads generated?
ShopTheRate.com uses only organic advertising to generate leads. We do not use incentives to entice prospects to provide their information. The leads that you receive will be prospects who will want to speak with you. They are searching you out.
How many agents get a lead?
Yourself and no more than two others. You might be the only agent to get the lead, depending on how many agents are signed up in a specific territory.
What if I get a invalid lead (invalid contact information, duplicate lead, etc.)?
Any lead that is found to be invalid will be credited back to your account. Even if another agent discovers that the lead is invalid, you will automatically receive a credit for that lead.
Do you have filters?
Yes, we have filters. Our filters do not affect the cost of your leads. We want to match you with an ideal prospect.
Will the lead go to anyone else from my carrier?
No. You will be the only agent from your carrier to receive the lead. If the prospect is currently with your company, you will not receive the lead. These are automatically filtered out for you.
What kind of leads can I get with your company?
Currently we are offering Homeowners insurance leads. We will soon be offering Auto and Life leads. We hope to provide leads for health, LTC, annuity and commercial in the future.
Is there a contract?
No. There are no additional fees or long term contracts that lock you in. You just pay for the leads you receive.
So how do I pay for the leads?
You will have a deposit account with us that is funded by the credit card of your choice. Once your lead balance reaches 2 leads, your account will be replenished based on your package choice.
What are the lead prices?
Leads are $10. However, there are packages that you can purchase which provide you free leads every time you replenish your account. You will be able to view these packages once you create an account.
